About NM-IBIS

New Mexico's Indicator Based Information System (NM-IBIS) is New Mexico's source for data and information on our state's priority public health issues. To ensure health equity, the New Mexico Department of Health works with our partners to promote health and well-being and improve health outcomes for all people in New Mexico.
NM-IBIS provides data and information to help realize New Mexico's health goals.

What's New

  • We've made it easier than ever to get to New Mexico community health
    data. You can find it in just TWO CLICKS!
  • We've simplified the site navigation - use the picture blocks above or the
    "Health Topics" tab, top left, to drill down to information on a health topic.
  • New community health reports, including by small area and health region,
    provide new insights into New Mexico's health.
  • Health indicator reports have more options for displaying the page.
  • Multiple health indicator report indexes (see "Indicator Reports" tab, top
    center) provide new ways to find an indicator report.
  • Dataset queries let you choose between starting with the default query
    result or going to a "query builder" page to design a custom query.
